The event will be an opportunity to connect our researchers and students with the industry and present innovative solutions to the challenges posed by Slovenian companies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Company Challenges:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.hidria.com\/int\/en\/\">HIDRIA Koper:<\/a><\/strong> Development of methods for &#8220;on the fly&#8221; verification of mechanical properties of electrical steel sheets, development of induction battery heaters, and quiet fans for heat pumps.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.marles.com\/en-us\">MARLES HI\u0160E:<\/a><\/strong> Communication about sustainable wooden prefabricated houses, comparison of traditional and innovative wooden construction, and ecological and sustainable solutions in construction.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.lisjak.com\/en\">OLJARNA LISJAK:<\/a><\/strong> Digitization of olive oil production, analysis of the utility value of secondary waste during olive pressing, and the design of a museum with an olive theme.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>What does UNI.MINDS 2024 offer?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Networking:<\/strong> Collaboration with prestigious companies such as HIDRIA Koper d.d., MARLES HI\u0160E Maribor d.o.o., and OLJARNA LISJAK d.o.o.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Innovation:<\/strong> Opportunity to present your innovative proposals for solving concrete challenges.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Workshops and excursions:<\/strong> Opportunity for networking and in-depth discussion with leading experts.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Who can apply?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Researchers from all member faculties of the University of Primorska.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Students, scientists, and entrepreneurs with innovative ideas.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>How to apply?<\/strong> Applications are collected via the online form <a href=\"https:\/\/docs.google.com\/forms\/d\/e\/1FAIpQLSeLT-cfqJDCLz5Y4I_dfMtWQ2jFwDWIN7B5J-2Kp04_-L7GAQ\/viewform\">HERE<\/a> until July 31, 2024.
