Visit of UP Faculty of Management to Oil Mill Lisjak during UNI.MINDS 2024 Festival<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Students from the University of Primorska<\/a>, Faculty of Management<\/a> (UP FM), who are attending the lecture \u201cSustainable Projects in Entrepreneurship<\/a>\u201d had an exceptional opportunity to visit the renowned Oil Mill Lisjak<\/a> on October 15, 2024. Oil Mill Lisjak is internationally recognized for its premium olive oils and numerous awards. The excursion was led by Associate Professor Dr. Jana Hojnik, and its purpose was to give students practical knowledge in the field of agriculture and olive oil production, particularly focusing on sustainable practices. The visit took place as part of the UNI.MINDS 2024 <\/a>festival.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Upon receiving a warm welcome, the participants embarked on a comprehensive tour of the Lisjak estate. The visit provided students with an in-depth understanding of the entire olive oil production process, from olive planting to the final stages of production. As they explored the farm’s history, they learned about the innovative approaches that ensure the highest quality in every bottle, while also discovering its foundations in traditional methods.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

One of the highlights of the visit was the olive oil tasting session, where the guests sampled a variety of award-winning oils. The students had the chance to deeply explore the diversity of flavors, textures, and qualities of olive oil \u2013 a key component of Mediterranean cuisine and culture.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The group also enjoyed a presentation on the achievements of Oil Mill Lisjak. The company proudly showcased the numerous accolades it has received at prestigious international competitions, reaffirming its position among the world’s top olive oil producers. These honors reflect the farm’s commitment to quality and the sustainable business practices that form the foundation of its operations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
