The device enables reliable assessment of muscle strength in patients who are unable to leave their bed or assume a seated position required by conventional dynamometers. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The device comprises a base plate positioned under the patient\u2019s hips, fixation means for stabilizing the body, a mechanical dynamometer framework with adjustable elements, a torque sensor, a shin fixation brace, and an electronic unit for data acquisition and processing.
