The University of Primorska invites all researchers to participate in the scientific-entrepreneurial festival UNI.MINDS 2024. The event will be an opportunity to connect our researchers and students with the industry and present innovative solutions to the challenges posed by Slovenian companies.
Company Challenges:
HIDRIA Koper: Development of methods for “on the fly” verification of mechanical properties of electrical steel sheets, development of induction battery heaters, and quiet fans for heat pumps.
MARLES HIŠE: Communication about sustainable wooden prefabricated houses, comparison of traditional and innovative wooden construction, and ecological and sustainable solutions in construction.
OLJARNA LISJAK: Digitization of olive oil production, analysis of the utility value of secondary waste during olive pressing, and the design of a museum with an olive theme.
What does UNI.MINDS 2024 offer?
Networking: Collaboration with prestigious companies such as HIDRIA Koper d.d., MARLES HIŠE Maribor d.o.o., and OLJARNA LISJAK d.o.o.
Innovation: Opportunity to present your innovative proposals for solving concrete challenges.

Researchers from all member faculties of the University of Primorska.
Students, scientists, and entrepreneurs with innovative ideas.
How to apply? Applications are collected via the online form HERE until July 31, 2024. Selected proposals will have the opportunity to give a brief presentation and connect with company representatives during excursions to company locations.

October 17, 2024 – MARLES HIŠE Maribor d.o.o. and the Faculty of Civil Engineering, Transportation Engineering, and Architecture, University of Maribor.
