»Enterprise Europe Network – Slovenia« (EEN6 2025-2028)

The University of Primorska is one of the project partners participating in the “EEN Slovenia” project, which was selected in the public European call for proposals “Enterprise Europe Network (SMP-COSME-2021-EEN)” and is co-financed by the “Single Market Programme”.

The purpose of the project is to offer Slovenian micro, small and medium-sized enterprises free business support services in the field of business internationalization. More about the project activities and services: https://een.si/

The project consortium is led by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Slovenia. The project partnership also includes the Chamber of Crafts and Entrepreneurship of Slovenia, the Jožef Stefan Institute, the SPIRIT Slovenia Agency, the University of Primorska, the University of Maribor and the RRA Podravje.

The project is co-financed by the European Commission from the “Single Market” programme.

“Erasmus for Young Enterpreneurs – Promoting the transfer of entrepreneurial skills between experienced and young entrepreneurs (2023-2027)”

The University of Primorska is one of the project partners participating in the Erasmus for Young Entrepreneurs project, which was selected in the European public call SMP-COSME-2021-EYE. The project consortium is led by Hochschule Fulda from Germany. 10 organizations from 8 European countries participate in the project partnership.

The purpose of the program and the project is to promote entrepreneurship and strengthen the transfer of entrepreneurial knowledge and skills between experienced and future or young entrepreneurs with the aim of transferring the necessary entrepreneurial skills and knowledge for the successful start-up and management of young entrepreneurs’ businesses. The program enables and co-finances 1-6-month entrepreneurial exchanges for young and future entrepreneurs who apply to the program and, with the help of an Erasmus intermediary organization, find a suitable experienced host entrepreneur abroad. The University of Primorska participates as the Slovenian local Erasmus intermediary organization.

SRC-EDIH 2.0. – Smart, Resilient and Sustainable Communities European Digital Innovation Hub 2.0.

The University of Primorska is participating as a project partner in the project “SRC-EDIH 2.0.”, which was selected in the public European call “DIGITAL-2025-EDIH-EU” and is co-financed by the “Digital Europe Program (DIGITAL)”.

The purpose of the project SRC-EDIH 2.0. is to contribute to the accelerated increase in the digital maturity of manufacturing SMEs with advanced digital technologies and artificial intelligence. SRC-EDIH 2.0. serves as a single point of contact, from measuring and analyzing digital maturity, acquiring new knowledge, guidelines and support for increasing digitalization to testing technologies in test environments for SMEs. Test environments offer the creation and testing of prototypes to accelerate the adoption of new digital technologies and skills and the advancement of existing digital solutions. In addition, the project will continue to support the building of an industrial ecosystem of companies with broad expertise in various fields and support access to European and national public and private funding to strengthen the capacity of companies to implement digital innovations and increase their competitiveness.

The project consortium is led by the Novo mesto Development Centre , and consists of 11 Slovenian organizations.

Consortium for the transfer of technologies from JRO to the economy – KTT (2017-2022)

The investment was co-financed by the Republic of Slovenia and the European Union from the European Regional Development Fund.

»COASTOUR – Coastal and Rural Tourism development (2023-2026)«

The University of Primorska is one of the project partners participating in the “COASTOUR” project, which was selected in the European call for proposals “ESMP-COSME-2021-TOURSME”, and is co-funded by the “Single Market Programme”.

The project aims to increase the competitiveness, resilience and sustainability of European rural coastal tourism SMEs and to strengthen the capacity of SMEs transnationally. At the same time, the project aims to strengthen the synergies of the sustainability advisory support ecosystem with existing European sustainability frameworks and tools and to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of existing EU sustainability schemes.

Accordingly, the main objective of the project is to develop a sustainability monitoring tool within the tourism sector and to make it available for self-assessment in monitoring sustainability performance to at least eighty SMEs in five countries. At the same time, it is also a starting point to strengthen their awareness, development and capacity in the field of sustainable innovation.

The project consortium is led by the NorthDenmark EU-Office and consists of 8 organisations from 5 European countries.
