We invite you to join us at this year’s UNI.MINDS Festival, dedicated to connecting individuals from academia and industry. The festival will take place between 14 and 30 October 2026.

UNI.MINDS is Slovenia’s largest festival focused on building an innovation community and fostering partnerships between academia and industry. Now in its seventh consecutive year, the festival is held under the umbrella of the Month of Science, supported by the Ministry of Education, Science and Youth. Its primary purpose is to encourage networking and relationship-building that enable the co-creation of breakthrough innovations. This year, free organized bus transportation will once again be available for participants attending events outside Ljubljana.
For everyone interested in electronics, electronic device development, printed circuit boards (PCBs), production automation, Industry 4.0, embedded systems, mechatronics, quality assurance and testing of electronic assemblies, industrial digitalization, research and development, and the transfer of innovation into high-tech manufacturing.
For researchers and students interested in biotechnology, biology, genetics, microbiology, food science, sustainable food production, environmental sciences, forestry, veterinary medicine, and other life sciences. Participants will also have the opportunity to visit selected laboratories at the Biotechnical Faculty of the University of Ljubljana and learn about the research infrastructure supporting world-class research in these fields.
For everyone interested in renewable energy sources, sustainable energy systems, hydropower, electrical engineering, green technologies, the development of low-carbon solutions, innovation in the energy sector, digitalization and technological solutions for the energy transition, collaboration between research institutions and industry, and innovative projects for a sustainable future.
For all festival participants who wish to meet and support the most innovative researchers and students of the University of Ljubljana.
